Mike and Carol Trotta is a family owned and operated business that has been providing luxury custom clothing to discerning men and women since it was founded by Mike Trotta Sr. in 1936. Trotta Custom Tailors, as it was called then specialized in men’s custom clothing. As the need for custom garments grew, so did the business and Mike’s wife, Anne joined the business in 1946.  For six years Mike and Anne ran the small company until they expanded and moved the business to downtown Cincinnati in 1952.  In 1968, after graduating college, Mike Trotta Jr. joined his parents and was trained in all aspects of the business.  Over the years Mike Sr., Anne and Mike Jr. ran and expanded the business until, 1991 when after a successful career at Gidding Jennings, Mike and Anne’s daughter Carol established the ladies division.   With this addition, the store became Mike & Carol Trotta, offering men’s custom and ready made clothing and accessories and ladies’ better bridge clothing.   Throughout the growth of the company, the family now in its third generation, has remained true to the heritage of its founder Mike Trotta, in it’s commitment to quality, service and classic style.
